I finally finished my first photo of my 365 set. My intentions were to have 1 photo a day but well, this one took me 2 months. Between having creative blocks, spending time with family and work there's no way I can put up 1 manipulated photo a day. So, we'll see how far I get... I'll work at my pace and put up the images as I finish them. It's about having fun, right? Enjoy...

Pastora and Jack

This was taken about a month or 2 ago while Pastora and Kirstie were in between trimesters. I was working on this but never finished till now. It was nice having the girls here. I know my boys and I love spending time with them. Not sure if they will be able to do that anymore. Everyone is growing up and getting real jobs.

Aging techniques

Original photo. No curves/filters applied.


Simple cross processed filter (currently love this filter). Unsharp mask at 160%.


Manually changing curves per channel. Black brush applied around edges.

Let me just say that I love the original image of Kele. I think it's my favorite picture I took that night when I went to the Bloc Party concert a few months ago. I wanted to play around with the pen tool and color so I went ahead and made this image a black and white.
